Banner initialization delay

You can delay your cookie banner initialization easily. Go to your CookieScript user account > Settings > Behavior > Banner control, where you will find the BANNER INITIALIZATION DELAY (IN MILLISECONDS) checkbox.

Use this option if you have some cookies that are set with delay. This is a delay in milliseconds before the banner will appear. During the delay, the cookies will not be dropped on the web page.

Cookie banner initialization delay could also be used to avoid Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) issues in PageSpeed Insights. An LCP is one of the critical metrics, that ensures the web page loading speed and the users' satisfaction with their browsing experience.

For example, if you want to delay cookie banner initialization for 2 seconds, enter the number 2000 (milliseconds) in the box below.

Cookie banner initialization delay is compliant with GDRP, CCPA, LGPD, CNIL, and other major privacy laws.
